This Week's Live Music:
Wednesday, 1/22 - PETER WARD - Peter "Hi-Fi" Ward is not your average blues guitar player. He's a songwriter who takes a fresh new approach, mixing originals and covers all influenced by the blues, swing and classic country. He toured with artists Jimmy Rogers, Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson, Otis Rush, Pinetop Perkins and Lowell Fulson. In the 1980s, he toured with the Legendary Blues Band, the combo that backed Muddy Waters. With Peter, the band recorded Red Hot and Blues on Rounder Records. 8PM-10PM
Thursday, 1/23 - CHRIS FITZ'S BACK PORCH ACOUSTIC HOEDOWN - Weekly acoustic open jam hosted by gifted New England blues artist Chris Fitz & powerhouse guitarist/vocalist Steve Dineen. Always a great vibe whether you come to sit back and listen, or sit in and play. All acoustic instruments welcome including horns, singers, bass or electric guitars with small amps, bongos, congas, percussion, harp, etc. 8PM-11PM
Friday, 1/24 - TOKYO TRAMPS - Soulful American roots music/rock duo. Hailing from the Land of the Rising Sun (Japan), Tokyo Tramps takes its cues from their musical heroes such as Bruce Springsteen and Stevie Ray Vaughan to create a sound that's unique and exciting. 8PM-11PM
Saturday, 1/25 - LIGHTS OUT BLUES BAND - Winner of the 2017 Granite State Blues Challenge and representative of the state of New Hampshire in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis last January, Lights Out is a 4-piece traditional blues band that was formed by Framingham blues artist Gary Bernath in
2013. The band honors Chess Records artists of the '50s and 60's like Marion "Little Walter" Jacobs, Howlin Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters, etc. and adds material from modern artists such as the Fabulous Thunderbirds and Robert Cray, while mixing in its own original material. 8PM-11PM
Sunday, 1/26 - YOUNG PERFORMER’S OPEN MIC FEATURING SCREAMING SUSHI – Teen rockers Screaming Sushi from Wellesley Hills, MA will be the featured band at this month's open mic. Screaming Sushi was created in 2012 and has played many events including the Upham Ice Cream Social, Wickerstock, and Dodgefest. They were featured on Fox 25 News in 2013 when they played an original song, Santa's Got the Music. Our Young Performers Open Mic, hosted by John McArthur on the last Sunday of the month, gives young aspiring musicians a chance to highlight their talents and build confidence as they share their music with an engaged audience. A great opportunity for young folks to try out or hone their performance skills! A small PA system and microphones are provided, along with an electronic keyboard and some percussion instruments. All levels of young musicians are welcome to perform. Arrive by 1pm to register. Takes place in our bar lounge. 1PM-4PM
Sunday, 1/26 - SUNDAY BLUES JAM WITH PETER HENDERSON AND COMPANY - Join us for dinner, drinks, and a lively Sunday Blues Jam hosted by Pete Henderson and friends. All musicians are welcome to sit in and play. A good time for all! 7:30PM-11:30PM

Watch a Video of Our Weekly Thursday Night "Backporch Acoustic Hoedown" Hosted by Local Blues Legend Chris Fitz and Guitarist/singer Steve Dineen:
Nominee, "Favorite Live Music Event" - 2016 WMRC Local Music Awards
Join award-winning local blues legend Chris Fitz and singer/guitarist Steve Dineen for our weekly acoustic hoedown on Thursday nights from 8pm to 11pm. This open jam is reminiscent of a gathering on a beautiful back porch somewhere deep in Mississippi on a warm evening with a bunch of friends playing music off-the-cuff. It's not a loud Blues Jam, or a singer/songwriter open mic.
All acoustic instruments are welcome including horns, singers, bass or electric guitars with small amps, bongos, congas, percussion, harp, etc. Whether you come to listen or to play, enjoy a fun-filled evening of soul rockin' acoustic music!
