A Special Message from Jasper Hill
Dear Loyal Patrons & Friends,
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for helping us to create our unique “little” space in the world, full of music, love, laughter and friendship. (And of course, great food & drink)! It’s only been a few days since we had to close our doors due to the coronavirus, yet we already miss you all terribly. It was decided amongst ourselves and staff that we would not be offering takeout during this time. Though we’ve always maintained high levels of sanitation, we felt that there is no way to completely eliminate the “human” factor during these transactions and wanted to ensure the safety of all concerned.
Though business had tapered off dramatically over the two weeks prior to the shutdown, it was still a shock for all of us to suddenly find ourselves unemployed. I am devastated for our employees and so miss our day-to-day craziness, friendship and camaraderie. I know that you are a tough lot and will not only survive but come back swinging. I would say that my door is always open, but since that’s not conducive to social distancing, you’ve got my number anytime you need someone to talk to. I will try to help out in any way that I can.
We’re taking this sudden hiatus to try to come up with ways to come back better than ever. The uncertainty of when that will actually happen is a bit frightening, yet we know that you’ll all be there with (hugs)! when all is safe again. In the meantime, we’ve set up a Paypal account on our website at www.jasperhillmillis.com/gift-card if you’d like to purchase a gift card for the grand reopening! It would be greatly appreciated, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Last but certainly not least, to our illustrious musicians; I know that many of you are in the same boat as we are, as you make your living entertaining people and basically making the world a better place through your music. It breaks my heart to look at the stellar lineup on my calendar, realize that it’s not happening and to know that you are without income as well. I know that a lot of you are performing concerts online with a virtual “tip jar” and/or offering your music and merchandise online as a way to supplement. Please feel free to post these on our Facebook page and we will make sure it gets out there. I’ve always maintained that our music-loving customers are especially generous! Be safe and catch you on the B side 😊
Denise, John & The Tracy Family
Jasper Hill was born in April of 2014, fulfilling a lifelong dream for us of having our own restaurant. John and I met 30 years ago while working at Houlihan’s Boston and worked together at many other fine establishments over the years. With our youngest of five children having graduated from high school, we thought it would be the perfect time to devote ourselves to creating a destination for people to meet and enjoy great food & drink in a warm welcoming atmosphere.
We are both huge lovers of music and therefore Jasper Hill has a strong focus on live entertainment. We host a variety of shows on the weekends, as well as open mic & caberet nights during the week. This is a true family operation with our children and other family members working here as well.
Throughout our past five years in Holliston, we've made lots of friends and shared many great times together. We are excited about our new location that's NOW OPEN at the historic Van Kleeck building in Millis. We are delighted to be a part of the Millis community and look forward to being a gathering spot for music lovers & foodies alike throughout the Metrowest area!

A Fresh Corner in Holliston
By Mary MacDonald, Globe Correspondant - October 19, 2014
Make it fresh using quality ingredients is the cooking mantra of John Tracy, owner of Holliston’s Jasper Hill Café & Bistro, which opened this spring in the space of the former Pejamajo Café.
Open seven days a week, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with an emphasis on a broad variety of salads and baked goods.
“We’re trying to do everything for everyone,” said Tracy, who worked for more than two decades as a chef and manager at restaurants, including Legal Sea Foods.
The couple had wanted a space that would be a place for people to gather in the morning or at lunchtime for meetings and conversation, and then offer live entertainment at night featuring local performers.
